> Planned, controlled fault injection into production or near-production to learn how the system actually behaves under stress.

Not sabotage · there is a hypothesis, a blast-radius cap, an abort criterion, and a learning. Tools: Gremlin, Chaos Mesh, AWS Fault Injection Simulator. Only worth doing once you have observability (SLOs, alerts, runbooks); without it you are just breaking things in the dark.
